Location: Portland, OR (97211) FT/PT Status: Full Time Shift: Day Hourly Rate: $13.25 Mary's Harvest Fresh Foods, Inc. is a locally owned, successful regional fresh produce manufacturer and is one of the largest independently owned produce companies in the Pacific Northwest. We have been growing exponentially and continue to build a strong team to drive the company forward. We currently have an immediate opening for a Production Processor who is trusted to maintain a clean and safe work environment, and responsible for preparing and packaging a variety of 'ready to eat' foods. The shift can start anywhere between 6:00 am and 7:30 am. Benefits include: Medical, Dental, PTO, 401 (k), and $500 bonus incentive after meeting required eligibility. Responsibilities: - Following safety guidelines and using caution in proper lifting techniques, handling knives, and operating machinery. - Dumping a variety of fruits and vegetables into a wash tank - Repetitive cutting, dicing, chopping a variety of fruits and vegetables. - Gathering ingredients for and assembling a variety of “ready to eat” foods, salads, etc. - Filling containers with product - Packaging finished containers into master cases and palletizing - Inspecting for quality - Cleaning and sanitizing Processing Area - Emptying trash Experience and Skill Requirements: - Ability to lift 5 - 25 lbs. continuously - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally - Work in a wet, refrigerated environment between 34 – 40 degrees - Ability to use knives, other hand tools and hand truck - Ability to identify and distinguish colors and depth perception *All job offers with Mary's Harvest Fresh Foods, Inc. are contingent upon passing a drug screen for controlled substances including THC.
