Hey guys! I have a rescue named Rodger. I've had him for 4 years now. I'm a disabled vet, whose disability has gotten worse and I'm slowly getting to the point where I can't keep up with him any more :(. I also work constantly, 40 hours a week and live in a small apartment. I want better for him. I just don't have the money or time to health to keep up with my boy anymore. He is very loving. Very independent. And he would most like to be in a home where he can stretch his legs and be free. He doesn't do well living with cats. He would never hurt the cat, but he gets pretty excited and wants to chase them. He does very well with kids. He has a grumble that is honestly hilarious. Sometimes it can be off-putting, but, this boy would never bet or attack. He loves attention and grumbles when he gets it. (Apparently, it's a rottie trait. His Dr told me that their grumbles are like cats purs :). I really would love to find him a new home. It breaks my heart that I'm having to do this, but I have to do what's best for him.
