Job Title: Maintenance Employee (Full Time Hourly)
Hours: Tuesdays-Saturdays from 7AM-3PM
Benefits: Medical, Dental, & Vision (After 90 Day Probation Period)
Summary:
MDC Maintenance Employees are responsible for ensuring the entirety of the Manayunk Special Services District stays clean and free of litter by clearing trash, seasonal landscaping, and other various tasks.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Sweeps litter off the sidewalk, street, & curb line
• Empties trash and recycling recepticles along Main Street
• Removes and covers graffiti
• Assists in repairing neighborhood amenities
• Assists in event day setup, breakdown, and waste management
• Works seasonal tasks including but not limited to: leaf removal, snow removal, salting, plant watering, and weeding
• Additional tasks assigned as needed
Job Skills & Qualifications:
• High School Degree or equivalent
• Must have valid driver’s license (Philadelphia resident preferred)
• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
• Experience in maintenance, custodial, or janitorial work preferred
