Description
Looking for a female vocalist to sing lead and backup with our brass band. I'd say our genre is funky southern rock and have 15 shows lined up in Charleston, Charlotte, and Myrtle Beach. FYI we are all in our mid 20's and dig hanging out drinking and smoking lol. We all have regular jobs but hoping to be able to be financially support ourselves in the next year or so. Here's an idea of the songs you'd need to feel comfortable on -
Lead:
Valerie - Amy Winehouse
I'll Take You There - The Staple Singers
Piece of My Heart - Janis Joplin
Fool in The Rain - Led Zeppelin
Long Train Running - The Doobie Brothers
I Will Survive - Gloria Gaynor
Proud Mary - Ike and Tina Turner
Backup:
Mississippi - JJ Grey and Mofro
Sweet Soul Music - Arthur Conley
The Shape I'm In - The Band
Who? - The Sheepdogs
99 Shades of Crazy - JJ Grey And Mofro
Land of 1000 Dances - Wilson Pickett
Will it Go Round in Circles - Billy Preston
Must be able to practice 1-2 times a week - usually Tuesday evenings - & perform Thursday/Friday/Saturdays. Hit me up if you have any interest or questions! (Text is probs easier)
