Applicants must be able to follow supervisor's instructions, have some working knowledge of tools and building materials, reliable transportation and valid driver's license, and stable work history. Basic Purpose Responsible for interior renovations of residential or commercial property sites including installing cabinets, countertops, doors, trim and hardware. This position is responsible for all of the following: ~Installation of cabinets and counter tops ~Perform the levelling and trimming of doors and windows using tools including power sanders and planers ~Carry out the scribing of moldings to allow for proper fitting on even or uneven surfaces ~Install crown moldings and trim for doors, windows, and baseboard ~Install fixtures such as door knobs, handles, and hinges ~Communicating with the Construction Supervisor, following instructions, and or working with blueprints as needed. ~Completing layouts- measuring, marking and arranging materials in accordance with local specific building codes. ~Fabricate customized woodworks that serve as accessories necessary for the finishing of a carpentry structure ~Cutting and shaping wood, plastic, fiberglass or drywall using hand or power tools such as chisels, planes, saws, drills, and sanders. Candidates must have MINIMUM 6 months related experience. This position will REQUIRE frequent overnight TRAVEL. Candidates must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
