(Paid out over the First Year of Employment) 1st shift 5:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shift + Occasionaly Friday depending on Workload Grinding Schedule 5:00am to 3:30pm Monday - Friday + Some Saturdays depending on Workload Pay - Grinding Department is $19.50/hr. Starting Then upon successful 90 day probation wage increases to $20.00/hr. Pay - Deck or Mold Department is $18.75/hr. Starting Then upon successful 90 day probation wage increases to $19.25/hr. 2nd Shift 3:30pm to 2:00am Monday - Thursday Pay - Grinding Department is $19.50/hr. Starting + $3.00/hr. 2nd Shift Premium = $22.50/hr. Then upon successful 90 day probation wage increases to $20.00/hr. + $3.00/hr. 2nd Shift Premium = $23.00/hr. Pay - Deck or Mold Department is $18.75/hr. Starting + $3.00/hr. 2nd Shift Premium = $21.75/hr. Then upon successful 90 day probation wage increases to $19.25/hr. + $3.00/hr 2nd Shift Premium = $22.25/hr. Team Member Duties Must be willing and flexible to work in a variety of foundry positions: Pour/Shift, Mold, Core, Grind, and Clean. Molder - Forms sand molds to fabricate metal castings. [Not plastic injection] Coremaker - Makes sand cores used in molds to form holes or hollows in metal castings Grinder - Grinds and chips workpiece to groove, bevel, round or straighten edges or remove excess stock from metals as specified by drawings, job orders, or guidelines or to removed defects, such as shrink cracks and holes Pour/Shifter (Deck) - Operates transfer ladles containing molten metal to pour into prepared sand molds of various sizes and configurations. Places metal weights and jackets on prepared sand molds preparatory to pouring molten metal into the molds. Qualifications 18+ years old High School Diploma or GED Successful completion of a physical/drug screen and background check Ability to wear PPE - safety glasses and shoes, hearing protection, and hard hat. May also include aluminum jacket/chaps and dust respirator.
