Job Description Immediate opening for Carpenter needed for home and building restoration in Cincinnati, Ohio. High quality standards is a must. Must be able to work in a team environment and possess good oral and written communication skills, and good attitude required. Must be able to travel to downtown Cincinnati. Must be able to Construct, build and repairs all wood structure types, including but not limited to walls, ceilings, flooring, and doors, trusses, etc. in commercial and residential establishments by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Position Duties / Responsibilities Install wood trim including base, crown molding, chair rail, and door trim. Frame metal stud or wood framed walls and ceilings. Hang and finish drywall in preparation for finishes. Erect acoustical ceiling grid and install acoustical ceiling pads. Install wood and hollow metal frames and doors, including associated hardware including locks, closers, and panic devices. Install cabinets/casework and countertops. Install prefabricated windows and frames. Install wood, vinyl composition, tile flooring as well as carpet tile. Install shiplap, siding, decking Position Requirements Minimum of  2 years of experience in carpentry Minimum of  2 years of experience in building structures Effective communication skills Basic math skills (metric/decimal) Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance Ability to climb ladders, work on scaffolding, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics) Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time Strong work ethic in a team oriented work environment Must have references Job Type: Full time Required license: Drivers License with clean driving record.   Salary: $15-$20 Hourly.  Work experience will determine pay.  Company vehicle available.
