For more information about this exciting experience, be sure to check out: www.NerfChallenge.com We are currently looking for BOX OFFICE ATTENDANTS, RETAIL STAFF, EVENT STAFF, REFEREES, AND CLEANERS to join our team. BOX OFFICE Responsibilities: · Act as first point-of-contact for guests visiting The Nerf Challenge, assisting in the purchasing, redemption and facilitating of all onsite, and online ticket purchases via our ticketing platform. · Ensure all guests have properly filled out their participating waivers. · Scanning tickets within event entrances/exits, and experience rooms as necessary. Ensuring guests are aware of all relevant rules/policies of the Nerf Challenge prior to entering. · Provide world class customer service to our guests, facilitating guess feedback and concerns to relevant management as necessary · Other duties as assigned RETAIL STAFF Responsibilities: · Greet all guests as they approach retail shop. · Upsell merchandise. · Re-stock merchandise displays. · Handle cash and credit card transactions. · Balance bank daily. · Keep assigned areas clean, tidy, & presentable. · Provide information on all NERF Challenge offerings. · Handle pre purchase redemptions of products via ticketing POS platform. · Assist Box Office team as needed · Other duties as assigned EVENT STAFF Responsibilities: · Greet all guests as they approach assigned zone. · Scan tickets and assign token/points when needed. · Manage queues. · Keep assigned areas clean & tidy, assist with reloading blasters. · Assist in sanitization processes. · Provide instruction on NERF Challenge gameplay · Provide information on all NERF Challenge offerings. · Ensure guest safety when participating at the activations. · Must be willing to work weekends & holidays · Other duties as assigned REFEREE duties (in addition to the Event Staff duties): · Greet all guests as they approach assigned zone. · Officiate competitive NERF blaster games. · Ensure all guests are following safety protocols. · Provide instruction on NERF Challenge gameplay · Aid in guest loading and unloading · Keep assigned areas clean & tidy, assist with reloading blasters and pick up darts/rival balls. · Other duties as assigned CLEANER Responsibilities: · Keep all back areas clean and organized · Help restock · Assist in picking up and sweep items from the show floor · Wipe down areas and high touched surfaces throughout shift. · Other duties as assigned Qualifications: · High school diploma · Ability to work up to 40+ hours per week including weekends, evenings and holidays as needed This job is ideal for someone who is: · Family-oriented -- enjoys interacting with families and children of all ages · Dependable and High energy! *This is a temporary, seasonal position. No benefits are offered. Dates including training are approximately May 22nd – Aug 8th. Open Thursday-Sunday each week.* All qualified candidates must pass a criminal background and vulnerable sector check. This position requires prolonged periods of standing, walking, repetitive motions, bending, kneeling & climbing. All applicants must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. & push/pull a cart weighing up to 50 lbs.
