We are looking for a mechanical repair tech. Strong automotive skills are beneficial and cross-train well into the position (either professional or hobbyist). Must be willing to learn a valued trade in the High Vacuum industry. This is a full-time position and requires occasional travel during business hours. You would be conducting repairs on mechanical pumps, cryogenic compressors, and related High Vacuum equipment. Wages are competitive and negotiable.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical skills
- Must be a natural leader and self-starter
- Must have your own hand tools, specialty tools supplied
- Must be friendly and work well in a small company environment
- Excellent attention to detail
Requirements:
- Consent to background check
- Clean driving record and valid CA drivers license- this is a shop position but requires occasional travel to job sites during business hours
- Hand tools- Specialty tools will be supplied
- Full time availability
