Seeking a full time onsite maintenance technician for a 100+ unit apartment community in the Crenshaw district 90008. Email your resume with the subject line “Onsite Maintenance Technician” Position & responsibilities: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of apartments, the building and grounds and performs maintenance duties to include but not limited to: Repairing flooring Drywall repair Appliances; installing, troubleshoot and repair Light plumbing- Toilet repair/replacement, garbage disposal replacement, faucet/tub spout/cartridge replacement, irrigation, caulking Light electrical- Fixture, outlet, switch replacement. Appliance installation. Light HVAC system repair Painting (interior) Getting apartment units ready for rent Doors & locks: moulding & door repair & replacement, lock replacement Drive to and visit local stores & suppliers to purchase materials. Maintain maintenance supply inventory Requirements Provide and maintain own tools Minimum 2 years of experience in residential & apartment maintenance Punctual & reliable Must have basic computer skills and knowledge of use of a smartphone/tablet Valid driver’s license with good driving record Show proof of car insurance Compensation: $17 - $20 per hour depending on experience Benefits: Medical, dental & vision insurance Paid time off and sick time Gas reimbursement/allowance Cell phone reimbursement/allowance Employment is contingent on a background check.
