POSITION OVERVIEW: The Technical Services – Apprentice will be responsible for assisting our Structured Cabling and PhySec technicians with the installation our various cabling and access control solutions. QUALIFICATIONS: • Must be able to use power tools • Must be able to climb ladders • Must be able to lift up to 75lbs • Must be available for overnight travel • Basic wiring knowledge is preferred, but not required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the regular and traditional duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; reach with hands and arms. While performing the duties of this this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, sit, and use hands to pull cables and wires, use power tools, work in awkward positions and climb ladders. The employee must be able to safely lift and/or move up to 70 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, and color vision. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud and employee may be exposed to outside weather elements. These physical aspects of a Technician’s position are ongoing throughout the workday and not merely occasional in nature. WE EXPECT EXCELLANCE FROM OUR EMPLOYEES.
