Children and their families will join forces to pack enough sack lunches to supply food for a day for a local shelter! Who this in person service event is for: Ages 2-12. Siblings outside of this range are welcome to attend but may find the event less meaningful. Adult caregivers are required to accompany child participants. Please see our COVID-19 protocols below to determine if this event is appropriate for your littlest ones. What you'll be doing: Help us pack sack lunches for hungry neighbors! We'll have all the supplies you need to decorate paper bags, make PBJ sandwiches and fill sack lunches for The Open Shelter! Children will learn that we all need help sometimes, and we can all give help sometimes. COVID-19 Protocol for In Person Events: Please review our COVID-19 Protocol for In Person Programming before registering for this event. Specific Instructions: Families should bring masks. All other supplies will be provided. Why you'll be asked to pay a supply fee and donate: On the next page you'll be asked to pay a fee to offset supply costs for this event. These fees are non-refundable. If you have to cancel your registration later, please know that your fee will go toward our efforts to create more meaningful service-focused programs for Columbus-area kids.
