STAR POWER summer camp at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore is a one-week day camp from 8 am - 4 pm beginning Monday 7/12 and ending STAR POWER summer camp at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore is a one-week day camp from 8 am - 4 pm beginning Monday7/12 and ending on Friday 7/16 for students entering grades 7 - 9.  The camp will be a hands-on experience in the university’s state-of-the-art digital media facility. Participants will interact with UMES faculty and staff, who are seasoned industry professionals, including former WBOC news director Marilyn Buerkle. The camp fee is $185 (plus Eventbrite processing fee). All supplies will be provided. Lunch is also included and will be in the Plateau, the student cafeteria at the University (under COVID protocols.) Anyone with questions can call Marilyn Buerkle at 410-651-8349.
