Bird Banding Demonstration and Bird Walk at Equalizer Lake Join Scott Rashid, Director of the Colorado Avian Research and Rehabilitation Institute and seasoned birder Sheila Webber of the Ft. Collins Audubon Society, at the High Plains Environmental Center for this Bird Lover's Event. This is an outdoor event and will be held weather permitting. If cancelled due to weather, (snow, rain, or extreme wind/cold) registrants will be notified the day before. Attendees are encouraged to bring binoculars, dress in layers, wear walking shoes, and bring a water bottle. This event is for all ages. Under 16 must be accompanied by adult registrant. Larimer County COVID 19 Protocols will be in place and attendance is limited to ticket holders. Attendees must register with an email address and phone number to enable any future contact tracing that may be necessary. Vulnerable populations are safer at home.
