Join us for an afternoon cleaning up our beautiful watershed. Due to the ongoing pandemic, we are following our local jurisductions COVID-19 guidelines and we are limiting the number of volunteers on our site. Please register if you are interested in joining this event. Location: 201 Russell Avenue, Gaithersburg, MD 20877. We will meet in the parking lot that is off to the right at the dog park. - More information will be sent via email once registered. About Cleanups: Cleanups provide a transforming experience that engages residents and community leaders and generates momentum for change. We work throughout the Potomac River watershed with a focus on the DC metro region and partner with citizens, local governments, and community organizations to take action for clean land, safe water, and healthy lives. Cleanups help provide data that we can share with local jurisdictions to help support proven source reduction policies (bag fees, foam bans, straw bans etc.) * These are also great opportunities to recieve SSL hours. If you join the cleanup please bring the appropriate paperwork for the cleanup leaders to fill out.
