Looking for a temp home for my parakeets

Hi! I have two beautiful boys, parakeets or budgies, I should probably know which, but one is yellow and the other is green and other colors, Mortimer and Tinley, good boys, not hand tame because I haven't worked with them, but I really think they could be. They have a huge cage, with toys, feeders, treats, and I have a $50 roll of cage liners I just bought. Here's the thing. I'm getting a family houseguest, which is FINE, I'm FINE with it, but I don't want the boys to be here while she (and her spoiled brat kids and her cat) are here. So has anyone out there wanted to try out having parakeets, but has been nervous to try because what if you don't like it? I'll tell you this: they're messy! Lots of cleaning, they poop about every 5 to 10 minutes (so I've read and I believe it) and the seed mess around the case is crazy. But they do make a beautiful chatter and love to have the windows open and talk to the birds outside. And I really think they could become hand tame, for someone who has more time to work with them than I do. Anyway. I would propose this. I'll sell them to someone for $100, cage, all supplies, all everything. And in two months, when my houseguests LEAVE, I'll contact whoever takes them and if they want to keep them, then ok, it's destiny. But if you decide it's harder than you thought, then I'll pay you the $100 back and take them back. I have a big enough vehicle to drop them off and pick them up, their cage can be broken down into pieces but it's a pain in the buttocks to break down and put back together!! Any interest?
