AIA CKC is happy to return with our first in person tour since the beginning of the pandemic with a tour of Lynn Family Stadium AIA/CKC May Program: Tour of Louisville City FC Lynn Family Stadium Location: 350 Adams Street (See map below). Date: Tuesday, May 18, 2021. Time: 5:00 pm. Cost: Free to AIA/CKC members. Credit: 1.5 CEU. Tour will be led by Jason Larkin, Construction Manager for Messer Construction and Chris Chartier, Assistant General Manager at Lynn Family Stadium. Louisville City FC Lynn Family Stadium is an 11,900-seat stadium with private luxury suites, restaurant/bar, memorabilia fan shop and other amenities. The site development includes an additional grass playing field outside of the stadium open for public recreational use. Construction Manager is Messer Construction. Architect is HOK. Mechanical Engineer is CMTA. Civil Engineer is Mindel Scott. Structural Engineer is Walter P. Moore. Cost is $65 million. Jason will describe the construction process, including interesting facts about the roof structure, the seating bowl and the field. Chris will describe to day to day workings of the stadium. We will tour the stadium, including the seating area, luxury suites, restaurant/bar, kitchen, locker rooms as well as the field. We look forward to our first in-person event since the pandemic. While the majority of this tour will be outdoors, COVID-19 protocols will be followed including social distancing and the wearing of masks.
