AADOM Chapter meeting with Self- Defense Instructor: Dave Robertson. Hello, my name is Dave Robertson. I am a former Homeland Contract Security instructor. I have been teaching self-defense courses for twenty-six years. I specialize in simple and effective techniques for individuals ranging from the law enforcement/military to the average civilian. I will cover situational safety awareness which includes empty-hand techniques and improvised weapons. The core strategy is to always de-escalate the situation and escape.
