Two Hamsters

Description

Two long-haired Syrian (a.k.a teddy bear or golden) hamsters, one female and one male. The female is a daughter of the male. The female has never been bred/produced any litters, and the male has sired three. They will come in their large bin habitats with whatever bedding is left (1.5 Aspen shaving bags and 1/2 bag of wood pellets so far), their wheels, houses/hides, bowls, chew sticks, large filled food container, treats, and water bottles (Marshmallow has a ceramic one). They live separate, and need to be kept separate- Syrian hams are extremely territorial when adults and will kill other Syrian hamsters, their own relatives, and any other rodent types. They must go with their enclosures. Rehoming fee is 30 each. The male is 7 months old, and white/brown. The female is solid white with black eyes and is 4 months; both are friendly and have never bitten, but the male does not like being surprised inside his habitat and can become grouchy. I’m sadly rehoming them due to my new roommate’s cats making it their life mission to eat them, to the point I’m fearing for my hamster’s safety. I’ve named the female Marshmallow and the male Mochi, but of course their names can be changed :) **Please have knowledge of proper Syrian hamster care and small animal handling- these are living creatures, not toys. Most small animals will bite if harassed or squeezed, and dropping them usually means injury or death. Syrians get much larger than other hamster breeds, and are escape artists- and all new animals take time to get used to you. I’m only meeting in the Gallatin or Hendersonville areas, public places. No trades except for ASF (African soft fur rats). Asking me a obvious question that I’ve already covered in this post = Ignored. I work a lot, so the more heads-up you give me about meeting, the more likely it’ll work out. ***I’m currently having issues with the picture uploader, e-mail me for photos.
