Preferably looking for experienced carpet cleaners or someone with great customer service or sales experience. But willing to train anyone who is willing to learn and be dependable. There will be a training/probation typically for 2 to 4 weeks. During the training period the pay will be $13 hr. Unless you have previous experience. Mostley because you will be watching for most of the time during the training period. After training is completed there will be the option of either $16 hr. or 20% commission. For example the current techs paycheck was $1800 for 2 weeks not including tips. People with good sales experience are encouraged to take the commission. The more you sell the more you make. That can be discussed in more detail during the interview. There are also tips. Some customers tip very well some not at all. The job can be physically challenging but it is easy to learn. For now the position is part time. But can lead into full time for the right person. The schedule can be flexible. But during training the day will start typically at either 8am or 9am and go until the jobs are done. Jobs are not scheduled after five but you may need to finish a job that goes past 5pm from time to time. Once trained we can accommodate just about any schedule. That can be discussed more in the interview as well. I also own a cleaning company. We do things like cleaning tile and grout, junk removal and air duct cleaning. As well as other things. If interested we can split your time with cleaning and carpet cleaning. That too can be discussed more. Pay would be different for cleaning. Minimum pay is $15 an hour and goes over $20 an hour for certain jobs. Please do not use this as an opportunity to only fulfill you Unemployment obligations to keep your benefits. I have no issues telling the Employment Department you missed your interview or didn't accept a job. My time is valuable as is yours, I don't want to waste it on undipendable people.
