Job Functions Assists mechanics with repairing vehicles and equipment; Cleans and maintains shop equipment and tools; Maintains and monitors parts and fluid inventories; Performs minor equipment repairs in the field; Maintains shop in a clean and orderly manner; Operates various hand tools, including spray gun, sander, grinder, grease gun, hydraulic jack, welding tools, etc.; Checks batteries and fluid levels in equipment and replaces or replenishes as needed; Performs lubrication and related maintenance; Repairs flat tires and tubes, including dismounting; and Picks up supplies and parts from vendors or suppliers as necessary. Other Important Duties* Performs such other related duties as may be assigned. OTHER REQUIREMENTS Regular attendance is essential. Must arrive at work on time, prepared to perform assigned duties and work assigned schedule. Employee must have the ability to work well with others. Employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves and others.
