Local family owned civil construction company seeking LONG TERM employees interested in full time work and experience in earthwork operations such as mass excavation, mass hauling, residential and commercial site work, lot development, building excavation, and underground utilities. Experience and General Requirements: -Minimum 2 years’ experience in the ditch (for pipe layers’ position and wages) -Minimum 2 years’ experience with road work, clearing, grading, utility trenching, storm, sewer, water, and fine grading. -Minimum 2 years’ experience as a full-time heavy equipment operator - MAJOR PLUS! -Large emphasis on the underground utility excavation and installation -Knowledge of grading, slopes, compaction, and drainage -Knowledge of Safe/Proper use of hand tools and power tools -Communicate well with all persons involved with a project -Product identification for specific job related tasks -have the knowledge and be able and willing to follow federal, state, and company safety rules and regulations -have the ability to lift 50 lbs. - Must be organized, flexible and determined to do the job right - Desire to learn, improve and grow with the company -Ability to read plans a plus but not required -Must have valid driver’s License and reliable transportation -CDL A big plus but not required -Must be able to pass drug screening Compensation: Paid Hourly – DOE Medical and Dental after 90 days Company vehicle to lead positions Opportunity for overtime Serious candidates only Please reply to this ad with your resume and references
