My wife and I adopted our 50 lb brown mixed breed dog almost 3 years ago. Since then we have had two children. Gator (our dog) is uncomfortable around kids. He has come to co-exist with our children but is "on edge" around other children and other dogs. He has zero bite history. However, we believe it is best for him to be in an adult only home where he can lay in the yard or at the window for hours.
