SCOTT LANDGUTH Scott Landguth is the Executive Director of the South Dakota Ellsworth Development Authority, an agency created by the South Dakota legislature to work hand in hand with local governments, the private sector and property owners to promote the health and safety of those living and working near Ellsworth and to the protect and promote the economic impact of Ellsworth and associated industries. Scott was born and raised in Rapid City, South Dakota. He attended and graduated from Rapid City Stevens High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of South Dakota and then continued his education by obtaining a Master of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. Upon receiving his engineering degree, Scott accepted a position with C.E.T. Environmental Services in Denver, Colorado. In that position, his duties focused primarily on the design and construction of wastewater treatment plants. This position provided him with the opportunity to return to the Black Hills as Project Manager for the construction of a new treatment facility in Keystone, South Dakota, at the base of Mt. Rushmore. Following this project, Scott took a position with Pete Lien & Sons, Inc. a Rapid City based mining and construction company. Over the next decade Scott rose from the position of Environmental Engineer to Vice President/Environmental, Safety, Information Technology, and Human Resources. While performing these duties, he obtained his Master of Science degree in Industrial Psychology from Kansas State University. In 2009, Scott formed his own consulting company, Incentive Consulting, and began working independently. His primary client is the South Dakota Ellsworth Development Authority, for which Scott is contracted to be its Executive Director. Scott has had this contract since 2009. Scott and his wife, Jennifer, have three children – Taylor, Hailey and Hanna. Major General Kathryn J Johnson Maj. Gen. Kathryn J. Johnson is the Director of Logistics, Engineering and Force Protection, Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. She is responsible for organizing, training and equipping the command's in-garrison and expeditionary Agile Combat Support, which supports more than 70,000 Airmen and consists of more than 350 aircraft, assigned to three numbered air forces, 33 wings, three flying groups and one space wing. The command has assets at nine primary and 61 tenant locations with a $6.4 billion average plant replacement value and a $220 million annual operating budget. Air Force Reserve Command supports the Air Force mission to defend the U.S. through control and exploitation of air, space and cyberspace by supporting global engagement. General Johnson gained her commission from the U.S. Air Force Academy, where she graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. She holds a master’s degree in Strategic Studies from the Air War College at Air University, Maxwell AFB, Alabama, and a master’s degree in Military Studies from the American Public University in Manassas, Virginia.
