Peabody Plans 'Mother's Day' Coronavirus Vaccination Clinic

PEABODY, MA — Peabody is hoping the promise of some time around family will be enough to convince residents who haven't yet been vaccinated against the coronavirus to get the shot this weekend. The city is holding a Mother's Day vaccination clinic on Saturday at the Torigian Senior Center on Central Street from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The clinic will use the Moderna vaccine — meaning those ages 18 and older are eligible. "This mother's day, the best gift to give your mom is a safe and healthy family," the city said. "Getting your vaccine will help protect you against COVID-19 and help move our community toward doing the things we love to do." The Health Department and North Shore Community Health Center are sponsoring the clinic. Those with questions can call the Health Department at 978-536-5923.
