Children's COVID-19 Vaccine Study

While several COVID-19 vaccines have been granted emergency use authorization for general populations, there is a misconception that the vaccine research required to end this pandemic is complete. Clinical trial participants are still needed to expand protection to sensitive populations, such as children, people with immune disorders, and those who do not respond well to traditional vaccines. In Baton Rouge, Meridian is currently conducting COVID-19 vaccine clinical trials for children and teens. These investigational vaccines could help prevent the spread of COVID-19 among children and teens. Eligible participants will receive an investigational vaccine or placebo at no cost, and will be compensated for study-related time and travel. Health insurance is not needed to join these studies.
