TAMPA, FL — As part of the city of Tampa Parking Division's effort to simplify its parking policies and procedures, the division recently removed the two-hour max restrictions for "on-street" parking in the Downtown Central Business District. Effective immediately, customers will no longer be required to renew their parking sessions every two hours. Instead, they will be able to choose their desired duration at the beginning of the parking session. This change will help make on-street parking downtown more convenient and support the city's mission of improving community-centric services.
