We are a local Event and Party Rental Company that provides tents, tables, chairs, linens and other rental equipment with great customer service. We are seeking a Team Member who is eager to learn and has a passion for making customers happy. This is a full-time position with a new new hire probation period. Candidate will go through training and will have the opportunity to continue to learn and grow with our company. A flexible schedule is important, availability to work at least Thursday-Monday is necessary. Title: Inventory/ Delivery Team Member Nature of the Work: The work is very physical and demanding, both from strength requirements and the stamina required. It is fun for those who enjoy a fast-paced environment. Will clean and maintain inventory. Will help customers and personnel load and unload vehicles. Job duties also include communicating with customers and team members. Will install tents and follow procedures and layouts to setup events. Janitorial responsibilities, both inside and outside the premises, are also involved. Working Conditions: Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Some work will be indoors with general warehouse conditions, in which some work areas may not be heated or air-conditioned. Often work will be outside, Saturdays, Sundays, and early mornings. This job requires constant interaction with co-workers and with the public. This position requires frequent lifting and a significant degree of walking, bending and transporting objects of various weights and dimensions. May have exposure to chemicals, including but not limited to gasoline, propane and cleaning solvents. Propane is an obvious hazard; hence a sense of smell is required. Requirements: · Ability to lift approximately 70 lbs and have full range of motion · Must be able to speak English clearly and write legibly. The ability to speak other languages is a plus. · Ability to understand and follow instructions furnished in written, oral and scheduled form. · Maintain a positive attitude and cooperative working relationship with team members, even in high-stress situations · Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record is necessary if candidate wishes to move-up to driver · Must maintain a professional personal appearance · Must possess customer relation skills and high attention to detail · Must be able to use mathematics to solve problems.
