ARLINGTON, MA — A 10-year-old from Arlington was honored Friday for his quick thinking after a fire broke out on his neighbors' porch. Mason Conway received awards from the police and fire departments, as well as the Select Board. The fire happened in East Arlington March 5. Fire Chief Kevin Kelley told Patch partner YourArlington that Conway spotted the fire and alerted his parents to call 911. Conway also knocked on his neighbors' door and told them to evacuate, Kelley said
