MANHASSET, NY — The restaurant rejection that went viral in a TikTok video might not ever have happened to Adam Sandler if he had considered a Sloppy Joe with the Lunch Lady, but on Tuesday the comedian laughed off the incident in a Tweet. The 54-year-old comedian was seen in a viral TikTok video last week being turned away by a hostess at a Long Island International House of Pancakes. Sandler tweeted, "For the record, I only left IHOP because the nice woman told me the all-you-can-eat deal didn't apply to the milkshakes." Hostess Dayanna Rodas posted the video, which features security footage from the Northern Boulevard pancake house, with "Be a clown" by Osuna playing in the background, as well as a photo of herself in clown makeup, noting, "Not realizing its Adam Sandler and telling him it's a 30min wait and him ofc leaving bc hes not going to wait 30mins for IHOP," she said. Rodas then asks the actor: "Pleaseee come back," in the video which quickly went viral, shocking her. "What?" she asked in another video with a story about the video as a backdrop.
