The City of Orlando will be hosting its 4th Annual Civil Rights Award Ceremony to honor nominees and announce the 2021 award recipient. On Thursday, June 10, 2021 the City of Orlando will be hosting the 4th Annual Civil Rights Award Ceremony to honor the 2021 Civil Rights Award Nominees and announce the 2021 Award Winner. This year's keynote speaker will be Congresswoman Val Demings. We will also have special guests , Ms. Willie Mackey King who worked with Dr. King and typed his "Letter from Birmingham City Jail" and Ms. Joan Mulholland who worked with Dr. King and participated in sit-ins and freedom rides.
