$30 rehoming fee if you want Toothless without the enclosure $600 if you want Toothless with the enclosure I’ve got a Bearded Dragon (Toothless) about 4 months old (I was told he was “around” 2 months old when I bought him, and I’ve had him a little over 2 months) I don’t have the time or money necessary to give him proper care. I’m also calling it a “him” but I don’t know if it’s male or female. He has either MBD (Metabolic Bone Disease), or some neurological issue. His appetite is good, his basking behavior is normal, and he poops once every other day. I took him to the vet, and they told me his bones look fine in the X-rays, so I really am at a loss for what is wrong with him. They said MBD, even though his bones are fine. He walks like he doesn’t have complete control of his legs, and he rests with his legs underneath his body instead of spread out. I’m being totally honest about him. I want him to go to someone who has the time and money to care for him. The vet told me there is a 50/50 chance that he will get better, but as long as he is receiving the proper diet and lighting he should not get worse. He was also tested for parasites at the vet, and the tests came back negative. I have a custom enclosure that I built for him (pictured). It is 4’ x 20” x 21.5”. If you want the enclosure, I’m asking $600 for it. Considering everything that comes with it, $600 is a good deal. Here is a list of what will be included with the enclosure: • a double globe with a 75W heat bulb and a Ceramic heat emitter for colder nights. • a 3’ zoo med hood with a Reptisun 10.0 T5 HO UVB bulb (the bulb is about 1 month old). • a probe thermostat that the heat lamp plugs into to manage the basking temps. • a surge protector with built in timer for the lights. • a large basking rock/cave • 1 reptile hammock • a large chunk of drift wood • small piece of wood • small aquarium cave/hide • Infrared thermometer gun • 2 hygrometer/thermometers (one of them is digital, the other is analog. The analog one is not very accurate.) If you don’t want the enclosure, then I’m just asking for a $30 rehoming fee for Toothless. Here is what is included with Toothless: • Flukers Repta Calcium w/ vitamin D3 (4oz) • Rep-Cal Herptivite multi vitamins (3.3 oz) • Zoo Med cricket care (food for crickets/roaches) • Zilla Gut Load cricket drink w/ calcium (water crystals) • Aquasafe water purifier drops (3.38 oz bottle) • large insect forceps • If I have any, I’ll give you whatever feeder insects I’ve got, and a 3 stack drawer cart that I’ve got them in. If I don’t have insects at the time, the cart will be included with the enclosure. • small soft reptile blanket If you want the enclosure, but you don’t want Toothless, you’ll have to wait until I can rehome him. I don’t have another enclosure to keep him in if I get rid of this one (other than a 10 gallon aquarium, which is way too small) Please text (my phone silences unknown calls) or email me if you are interested, or send this ad to anyone you know who may be interested. Looking to rehome him ASAP.
