NEWTOWN, CT — A driver struck an ambulance on Route 25 in Newtown Friday afternoon, and drove away. Now the local police is asking for the public's help in finding that person, reported the News-Times. The crash occurred on Botsford Hill Road near South Main Street at about 2:15 p.m. Patch reached out to the police department for information but did not immediately receive a reply. Reportedly, police said the ambulance was en route to an emergency when the crash occurred. There were no injuries.
