EAST HAVEN, CT —The East Haven Parks and Recreation Department is seeking experienced, certified lifeguards for the summer. The seasonal, temporary jobs are part time, with flexible hours. The pay is up to $13 an hour. The job posting notes lifeguards will "monitor activities at the town beach to prevent accidents and provide assistance to swimmers, to assure the safety and well-being of those on the beach, swimming in the water, and enforce all rules and regulations governing the beach."
