Spend the summer in the garden! Group your own food! Covid Safe Environment! Calling all interested 8-12 year old kids for the Southside Sprouts Garden Club! Join us once a week this summer to learn how to grow your own food, take care of the earth, and play a part in your community. Each student will have their own plot in the children’s garden that they are responsible for and of which they will get to enjoy the harvest. We will work together to keep the garden thriving, provide healthy food for our families and communities, and have fun while being outside and learning about how plants work. To stay COVID safe, the structure will be: Zoom instruction class on Wednesdays from 10-noon. A hands time in their garden with the instructor will be scheduled each week at a convenient time for the student.
