Small busy horse ranch seeks individual(s) to assist in managing the well being of their 10+ horses at SOOFA Ranch in Fairburn, GA. The ideal candidate is an experienced horse person/equestrian, dependable, hard-working and trustworthy person to help with managing it’s busy barn. At SOOFA Ranch - Stretch Our On Faith Again Ranch, Inc. we use horses to change the lives of people. Our programs include helping children and adults overcome anxieties, build confidence and helping individuals become better communicators. Our riding style is western pleasure and western dressage. We have an after-school kids program for ages 10-17, so you must be able to work with and handle young people. Responsibilities will include: Daily feedings (Twice a day) Cleaning stalls Watering horses Keeping tack room organized Grooming horses Keeping grounds clean This position may require long hours on certain days and weekends are required. Must be able to lift 75 lbs. You will be working with various individuals and personalities, so good communication and interpersonal skills are a requirement. Must be willing to submit to a background check and personality assessment.
