Description
Transforming Workplace Conflict In-Person Training Take conflict from being a workplace dread, to an asset. Rather than focus on a step-by-step process for conflict resolution, Transforming Workplace Conflict helps learners curb destructive behaviors in the moment so conflict can become more productive. This ultimately improves your workplace results, relationships, and culture. A personal assessment helps learners increase self-awareness around conflict behaviors and discover how to effectively respond to the uncomfortable and unavoidable challenges of workplace conflict. With Transforming Workplace Conflict, participants will: -Take a personal conflict assessment and receive a 23 page in-depth report -Appreciate how their style of handling conflict affects the people around them -Learn how to “catch” themselves when going down a destructive conflict path -Discover how to reframe a conflict situation and choose more productive behaviors -Build a common language around appropriate conflict behavior Objective 1: DiSC® in Conflict (2 hours) -Develop an understanding what DiSC® styles have to do with conflict -Develop a deeper understanding of their own conflict style -Learn about the other conflict styles Objective 2: Destructive Responses (2 hours) -Learn how automatic thoughts create destructive behaviors -Identify and understand destructive conflict behaviors that they use -Recognize automatic thoughts that they have during conflict Objective 3: Changing Your Response (2 hours) -Practice catching and changing automatic thoughts -Learn ways to continue evaluating and improving conflict experiences -Leave with applicable strategies for the future Event Details Dates/Times: May 13, 2021 (Thursday) 8:00am-4:30pm ESTAugust 17, 2021 (Tuesday) 8:00am-4:30pm ESTLocation: Express Employment Professionals Training Center 1760 44th St. SW, Suite 10, Wyoming, MI 49519 Cost: $350, Includes Breakfast ,Lunch, and Materials Register Now - Class sizes are limited for maximum engagement - register today to reserve your spot.
