AUSTIN, TX — The YMCA of Austin plans to hire more than 300 seasonal full-time and part-time employees as part of a recruitment effort ahead of summer 2021, officials said. The nonprofit organization will host a series of hiring events May 10-18 at four area YMCA's with opportunities for immediate job offers, officials said Tuesday. Positions offered include Youth Development Leader (available for applicants age 18 and up), Lifeguard (available to applicants 16 and up) Swim Instructor (available to applicants 15 and up), Health and Wellness, Membership, Youth and Family Programming and Facility Operations. The seasonal full-time and part-time employees hired for this summer are eligible for up to $300 bonuses as well.
