Proceeds from the event to be held at ‘Jakobi Ra Park’ located at 24 Avalon Street in Highland Park will be used to continue the work of its Founder Mama Shu, to raise funds for lighting, security cameras, fencing and staff, and to launch in memory of her son Chinyelu.
Donors and Supporters since her journey began have included TV talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, and people from over 140 countries around the world. Together we have helped Mama Shu turn blight into beauty and her grief into a safe haven of joy for many. Now as she mourns yet another unbearable loss, Mama Shu needs our love and support and your help to continue the work of building the village.
