Position Overview: The Property Management / Handyman position is responsible for proactively handling punch list items as we prepare to deliver new homes and completed renovation projects to our clients. In addition, you will be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance on past clients’ properties. The best candidate for this role will have broad based construction or handyman experience, be a self-starter, a problem solver, and a person who is resourceful and drives tasks to completion. Responsibilities: • Wide variety of repair and maintenance tasks, focused on detail and quality. • Communicating with trade contractors, project managers, and office staff on the progress of tasks to be completed or help needed. • Documenting the successful completion of task via photos and closing out of work orders. • Ownership and maintenance of high standards of workmanship and quality on all tasks completed. Qualifications: • Solid experience in construction or property management with a focus on high-end projects. • Proven experience in drywall repair, painting, light carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. • History of “rolling-up sleeves” and doing what is required to complete needed tasks. • Detailed oriented, strong time management skills, and an aptitude for problem solving. • Ability to manage multiple jobs at once while being deadline and detail oriented. • Active listener who extremely organized, takes notes, follows up on tasks to be completed, and can effectively relay information to others. • Enjoys communicating with clients in a positive manner that provides confidence. • Ability to use smartphone-based project management / work-order software. • A valid driver’s license.
