*ESL CANDIDATES ENCOURAGED TO APPLY. RAM Technologies is a manufacturing company based in Mukilteo. We are seeking applicants for the position of GENERAL LABORER. Manufacturing experience is not necessary, but is desirable. [RAM Technologies is a NON-SMOKING employer. If you smoke, chew, or vape, please do not apply.] We work in a fast-paced, team environment that requires a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail. Experience with hydraulic machinery and/or sewing equipment is a plus. DUTIES: Process work order according to yield and rate stated on recipe (operator is responsible for calculating yield and rate or asking lead if unsure about yield and rate). Notify the Zone Lead immediately when yield and/or rate is not being met. Produce 8.75 billable hours per 10-hour shift. Operate equipment in a safe manner at all times. Continually improve knowledge of all production processes. Follow 5-S protocol to ensure tools remain organized and the zone remains free of any safety hazards. Maintain a positive "can do" attitude. Be punctual (at your machine, ready to work at the start of shift, after all breaks, and remaining productive till the end of shift) and display excellent attendance. Ensure tie-off with day/night shift operator communicates status of job in process on machine clearly. Engage in the Kaizen improvement process. Inspect tools before beginning production on each job. Wear and clearly display your name badge on your person whenever on the clock. Treat coworkers in a professional and respectful manner. Use good judgment in all decision-making and refer to lead when in doubt. SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Basic math skills. Basic English speaking skills. Positive attitude. Desire to learn and improve upon existing processes. Physical requirements include a combination of sitting, standing, walking, climbing, squatting/kneeling, bending/stooping, twisting/turning, handling/grasping, reaching overhead, reaching outward, using foot controls, lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs from ground level to chest level.
