MANALAPAN, NJ - A Freehold Borough resident has been charged in connection with a string of burglaries at Manalapan-area businesses, authorities said. Isiah Casrell, 34, was charged with burglary, criminal mischief, and theft of approximately $3,200. On Wednesday, April 21 at approximately 7:06 a.m., Manalapan police officers responded to the area of 700 Tennent Road for a report of burglaries to three businesses: Polished Nails, Act Hairstylist, and Emilio's Pizzeria. It was later determined that at approximately 2:11 a.m., a male subject broke in the front glass doors of each business and removed items of value from the cash registers, according to a statement from the police department. The subsequent investigation led to complaints signed against Casrell, an unmarried, unemployed, male resident of Freehold Borough. Casrell is pending a court date.
