Join our Volunteer team to help Meals on Wheels in King County fight hunger! As a Meals on Wheels Volunteer, you will belong to a team committed to helping homebound seniors maintain their health and independence with nutritious food, personal contact, and caring service. A volunteer is needed to deliver meals to homebound seniors in Auburn, every other week, on Fridays from 9 am-11 am. You will be paired with another volunteer, so we are looking for someone comfortable riding/driving with another volunteer. Mileage is reimbursable while making deliveries. Qualifications: Good communication and people skills, reliable, good cheer, and a commitment to the well-being of homebound elders. This is an on-going volunteer commitment. Requirements: Complete an application, consent to a background check, be able to lift 15lbs, be at least 18 years of age, and have a Washington state driver's license and insurance.
