Travel Advisory: Road Closures On Winsor Avenue In Johnston

JOHNSTON, RI — The Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) has announced that it will temporarily close part of Winsor Avenue in Johnston to repair a 200-foot section of drainage pipe on Wednesday, May 5 from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The closure will take place in the area of 26-32 Winsor Avenue. Through traffic will not be permitted through Greenville Avenue and Orchard Avenue. Drivers will be directed to follow a signed detour using Greenville Avenue, Route 44, Smith Avenue, and Orchard Avenue. Local traffic will be permitted for residents only during the closure.
