MANHATTAN BEACH, CA —Thinking about catching a few waves on Monday? Here's an update on surf conditions from Surfline via the South Bay Dawn Patrol.
Check out some fun surf this morning with a blend of SSW/S and WNW/NW swells. The better exposures are in the waist-chest high zone, hitting head high on the bigger sets at standouts, according to Surfline.
Winds are calm to very light and variable making for clean surface conditions. Shape is a bit fat from the relatively high tide on its way down to a 10:50 a.m. low of 0.3'.
For the rest of the day, winds will remain light through mid-morning, allowing shape to improve a bit on the dropping tide.
Heading into the afternoon, the onshore wind will pick up out of the W/WSW for some bumpy surf, though it should stay manageable as the tide pushes back up to a 6:15 p.m. high of 3.8'.
