The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the property in a safe, attractive, and comfortable condition for the residents. *** We are looking for Maintenance Technicians with prior Apartment/Facility Maintenance experience *** Benefits: Vacation and Sick Pay 9 paid Holidays Company matched 401K option (after 1 year of employment) Medical/dental Mileage reimbursement Training opportunities Company phone Tasks that Maintenance Technicians perform (this is not an all-inclusive list): - Satisfies service requests per electronic work orders - Makes repairs to apartments and buildings - Assists with making a unit rent-ready - Paints - Services appliances, plumbing, electrical fixtures - Repairs or replaces old and faulty parts - Checks and changes locks - Repair drywall - Picks up trash on property to maintain safety and cleanliness -Responds to emergencies on-call/after hours (this may include weekends) The knowledge, skills, and abilities of a maintenance technician are similarly varied and include: - Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and through text message & email - Establish and maintain good relations with residents, vendors, and co-workers - Basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, mechanical, drywall repair, carpentry, and pool maintenance. - Is familiar with electric, water, and gas turnoffs, and clean-outs. - Own transportation and valid driver's license - Own tools (basic tools) - High School graduate or equivalent - Good mechanical aptitude and enjoys working with your hands - Willingness to work outside in a variety of temperatures throughout the year. - Ability to use phone applications We're looking for goal oriented, self-motivated, and responsible individuals to fill these open positions and grow with our company.
