Highway 101 In South Bay Closed At Blossom Hill Road Overnight

By Bay City News SAN JOSE, CA — Caltrans crews are doing work on Highway 101 in San Jose that began Monday and will require full closure of southbound lanes nightly through Thursday morning. The southbound lanes will be closed from 12 a.m. through 5 a.m. each night at the Blossom Hill Road off-ramp. Southbound traffic will exit at the Blossom Hill Road off-ramp, turn left at Blossom Hill Road and then turn right onto southbound 101 on-ramp. Work on the northbound lanes will last four hours each night between 12 a.m. and 4 a.m., Thursday through Monday morning. Traffic will exit at Blossom Hill Road off-ramp, turn left at Blossom Hill Road and then turn right onto northbound 101 on-ramp. Closures are needed for crews to safely remove steel falsework of the Blossom Hill Road over-crossing. Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time for their commute.
