This is Rosco (at least that's what we named him :-) He's a Male Blue Heeler, Very Friendly, loves to be petted and being around people. He's healthy but a bit overweight, has been neutered. He likes being outside, he's used to staying in a dog house but is often sitting on our front porch. He doesn't like going into a house, but we have gotten him used to going in our pole barn or in a storage shed, as we put him inside during the recent storms and heavy rains. He isn't too good with other animals, such as goats or chickens. We have chickens and can't have him loose at the same time they are out or he may try to run or bark at them. We had a goat and he would bark at him sometimes. But if he is worked with he may get used to them, as blue heelers are cattle dogs. He showed up at our house, approx 8 miles south of Mountain View Missouri. Just off of county road 696 and Hwy W, which is just south of County Road TT. We thought someone lost him, and we have posted local flyers and ads for several weeks now with no one claiming him. So we believe he may have been an elderly persons dog who either passed away or was put into a nursing home, and their children didn't want to bother with him so they dumped him off. We would really consider keeping him ourselves as he's a sweet dog, but we have 3 dogs already and just can't afford another. He needs every chance to find a good home. If we can't find him a home soon, we will have to take him to a shelter. If you are looking for your lost dog... hope you find them.
