Job Description - Community Habilitation Professional
Family seeking energetic but calm professional who has experience working with adults with autism for a wonderful opportunity supporting an 18 year old man both in his residential living environment in Southampton (with two other men) and various extracurricular activities outside the home. Client is verbal, gentle, friendly, happy, able to address self-care independently, and loves to exercise and be in the community. Client has a very full schedule - attends a young adult transition program 2 days a week and will be working in the community and attending various functions on other days. Primary function is to support the acquisition of goals around vocational training, social skills, safety, independence, leisure, and community. Employment type: Part time (4-6 hours per day for 5 days per week on average).
