Description
NORTHPORT, AL — Tuscaloosa Patch has decided to postpone tonight's community meeting for Northport residents impacted by the recent oil spill, as the threat of severe weather later this evening has prompted schools to dismiss early.
The community meeting has been rescheduled for next Tuesday, May 11 at 6 p.m. in the conference room at Northport City Hall. Severe weather impacts for Tuscaloosa County, according to the current National Weather Service forecast, are expected tonight between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Due to the nature of the ongoing criminal investigation, public officials will not be able to participate in the meeting, but are welcome to attend as guests.
